Wall Street Journal reports that the South Korean tech company is in negotiations with many carriers who would turn the watch into a regular smartphone in order for it to have advanced function.
Smart watches are talk about for some time now, and they are referred to as “the next big tech revolution” and tech experts believe that the 2014 is going to be extremely successful for this type of products.
Even though most of the smart watches on the market demands connectivity with the smartphone in order to receive a call, send SMS, check your email or use other functions, Samsung wants to create a smart watch that will be completely standalone.
This first combination of smartphone and watch is probably going to run on Tizen operating system and the name of this product remains still unknown.
Samsung has penetrated the wearable gadgets market with their first smart watch Samsung Galaxy Gear, which wasn’t accepted well by users, but his successor Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 has brought smaller dimensions, better design and more powers, so the reactions about Gear 2 are still to hit the web public.
