Samsung has grouped the applications together and presented them in a new re-branded store called Galaxy Apps, whose goal is to offer exclusive and special Galaxy apps.

These Apps are intended for fulfillment of special functions like multi-window option or connection to the Home Applience network, as well as the use of hardware add-ons like S-Pen. Also the goal of opening this type of store is improving and strengthening of the position on the market.

Considering that the last quarter wasn’t too good for Samsung due to lack of software dimension , they decided to try and move the aspect from the price and shift the focus towards software.

However, considering that its biggest competitor is Google Play, Galaxy Apps store still doesn’t have much to hope for, but as a future Tizen store it could definitely be important.
