Nokia is apparently all set to join the smartphone wars among the major phone giants, with the much rumored and speculated Nokia Lumia 1820. The latest buzz is that Nokia will launch its next Windows phone based smartphone in the Mobile World Congress(MWC 2014), which will be held from February 24th to February 27th in Barcelona, Spain this year. The MWC has seen various big smartphones launched which have become greatly successful worldwide, and Nokia seems to take this opportunity to launch the much coveted and speculated Lumia 1820 flagship smartphone in its premises.

According to reports on various internet discussion forums and tech sites, the Nokia Lumia 1820 will be the next in line Nokia phone, which will have the camera as a major USP of the phone, succeeding the current Nokia Lumia 1020. The Lumia 1820 will reportedly have a metallic unibody design, with a Lytro-type back camera(rumored at 16 MP). This type of camera will allow the users to change the focus of the image after clicking the photograph. The 1820 will also feature the latest Windows phone 8.1 OS, which provides tight integration between hardware and software for fast performance.

Coming to the processor, the Nokia Lumia 1820 could feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked in at 2.2 GHz which is the current top of the line mobile phone processor available. If rumors are to be believed, the Lumia 1820 will also have a full HD 1080 p screen, at a screen size of 10.1 inches, which is a mammoth size for mobile phone standards.
