The Surface Pro 4 was the main event at yesterday’s Microsoft event and it received great reviews from experts present at the conference, but the people from Microsoft had something else to promote as well. Some of the other cool stuff the guys from Redmond had to present included couple of high tech smartphones, one of them being the Lumia 950 XL.

There were lots of leaks connected with this model earlier this week, so fans already had a vague idea of what they could expect, but what they saw during the presentation just amazed them. The smartphone with a significantly larger screen of 5,7 inches compared to its smaller sibling, has 32 gigabytes of in house storage, which you can upgrade using a microSD card to up 2 terabytes.

All of this space is destined to get filled with lots of pictures and videos, which is something you may enjoy doing with a 20 megapixel camera equipped with triple LED RGB natural flash and an optical image stabilization available. Enough of the lengthy specification descriptions of the camera. This just means that you’ll be able to take more natural photos when applying a flash effect.

The whole thing runs on Windows 10, with a similar interface with your desktop computer. Another thing applied from its bigger technological brothers is the liquid cooling, which was initially invented for the Surface tablet. Liquid cooling is next to necessary as the 950 XL model operates using a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor. Just for comparison, there are i5 processors out there weaker than this.

Connectivity is another important feature maximized by Microsoft. Besides the adaptive antenna added for impeccable telephone signals, you’ll also receive a Display Dock equipped with HDMI port, DisplayPort and three USB jacks, as well as an USB Type-C connectors that are able to transfer data with speed of 5 Gbps.
