LG’s flagship G3 still hasn’t been launched outside of South Korea, but that hasn’t stopped the company in preparing the next step.
The latest rumors are telling us that the LG will announce a new version of its G3 model just few months after the original has been announced.
The newer version should feature an upgraded Snapdragon 805 processor and faster modem in order to reach the download speeds of 225 mbps on compatible networks.
Next to these two hardware changes, the rest of the device should be identical to G3 model.
Samsung has last year announced an upgraded version of its Galaxy S4 with faster processor and LTE-A support, which is pretty similar to what the LG is doing right now.
However, it is important to mention that the most users will note feel the drastic improvement in work with introduction of Snapdragon 805. Also the number of networks that could support this incredibly fast download speed is extremely limited, which leads to conclusion that these upgrades won’t be so impressive, at least not at the moment.
