After earlier reveal of its Ascend P7 mini model, the Chinese tech giant Huawei has revealed its flagship smartphone for 2014. Huawei Ascend P7 has a lot of features upgraded from its predecessor Ascend P6, but it kept the design perks very similar.
The new smartphone from Huawei comes with a 5 inch FullHD display packing of course stunning 1920 x 1080 pixel graphics, protected with the latest generation of Gorilla Glass layer. The device is somewhat longer than its predecessor, but it is thinner. So it comes in height / width of 139.8 mm x 68.8 mm, and it is 6.5 mm thin. Ascend P7 weighs only 124 grams.
The back side of the device is also covered and protected with Gorilla Glass, with special treatment in layers. When it comes to technical abilities and specs they are pretty solid for today’s trends.
The phone heart is made from Huawei’s HiSilicon Krin 910T chipset which comes with Cortex-A9 quad core processor working on 1.8 GHz, and they are paired with Mali 450 graphic chip. Huawei has put in 2 GB of RAM into its newest flagship which is pretty decent amount.
The internal storage comes with 16 GB and with a built in slot for microSD cards. All this is running the Android 4.4 KitKat in special user environment made by Huawei called Emotion 2.3.
The back side of the phone features a stunning 13 megapixel camera made by Sony, and on the front there is a 8 megapixel sensor with special wide angle optics, also made by Sony.
When it comes to networking, the phone comes with LTE support and Wi-Fi 802.11n chip. It is equipped with latest generation of Bluetooth 4.0, and it also comes with an NFC chip.
The device is coming this month, and it will be priced 450 EUROS for European users and $625 for US.
