These photos haven’t showed us much different things then the previous leaked photos we encountered, but the we can finally say that we now how the home screen of Huawei Ascend P7 will look like.
If you check the photo below, which has been taken from the side, it seems that this new smartphone is amazingly thing maybe even thinner than its predecessor Ascend P6.

Also after reviewing a bit more these new photos, it seems that there is a significant resemblance to Sony Xperia Z2, especially if you look closely to the layout of the side buttons. Both models feature a volume buttons, and a round button which is a combination of the lock button and camera trigger.
When we look at the back of the phone, there isn’t much information we can gather, except that the back surface is extremely glossy.
Reports about Ascend P7 that have been published earlier have suggested that Huawei Ascend P7 would be run by a powerful monster quad-core processor. The display will be 5 inches in size, and it will have a massive 2560 x 1440 resolution, that’s why there are rumors that there is a possibility that 2 GHz octa-core processor will be built in.
But those reports may be proven as inaccurate and are expecting too much. The hardware specs that are most realistic at the moment are that the phone will have a mentioned 5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, and it will be run by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. There weren’t any news about whether Ascend P7 would feature a higher res. 8 megapixel front camera, but it seems that the one on the back would have at least 13 megapixels.
The source of the rumor reports that these may be images of a prototype which has lower specs, and that when Huawei Ascend P7 becomes ready for launch, it will feature much powerful hardware.
Huawei has scheduled their press event for May 7 this year, so we only have to wait a month or so, to see if the promised 2K display has actually been implemented.
