Galaxy S5: The Show Stopper
Amidst all the news of HTC M8, Nexus 6, iPhone 6 etc. everyone has seemed to have lost Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 in their minds. It was a good 2013 for Korean multinational with the likes of Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom and Note 3 still buzzing in the market.
As the title suggests, we have called upcoming Galaxy S5, a show stopper. Let us see if it can stand that tag and justify it. But before doing so let us see what Galaxy S4 provided to everyone and how different Galaxy S5 is likely to be.
Galaxy S4: It came to into the scene in March 2013, running on Android 4.3 Jellybean. With a 5 inch display and resolution of 1080 X 1920p it featured 2048 MB RAM, Snapdragon 600 quadcore processor clocked at 1.9 Ghz. It also included a 13 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 2600 mAh battery capacity and 16 GB internal storage. It currently costs between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.
Why Galaxy S5 is a Show Stopper ?
Well we don’t need to tell anything. We will just present you with its upcoming specifications and you will yourself understand why we are calling it so after you compare it with Galaxy S4. Here they are:-
Galaxy S5: Expected to be released by 1ST week of March, it is expected to have a 5.2 inch display with a very high pixel density (nearly 550 ppi), 16 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, 3GB RAM, Exynos 6 processor clocked at 2.26 Ghz, battery capacity of 3600 mAh and internal storage of both 16 GB and 32 GB which could be expanded to 128 GB. It might cost around 850$ and run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
