Dutch group of people has recently started a campaign in which they have called upon everyone who think that they can survive 99 days without Facebook.
This is a response to a recent study done by Facebook regarding ads targeting and privacy of their users.
The project called 99 Days of Freedom has a goal to study how getting off Facebook influences the users who were hooked on this social network.
Each user that feels brave enough can participate, and all you have to do is visit the official webpage of the project at www.99daysoffreedom.com and reserve an avatar with whom you are going to tell your friends that you are leaving the Facebook for 99 days.
Currently there are more then 15 000 participants, and the organizers will be sending you different polls during this period in order to find out how this abstinence from this particular social network has influenced you.
