It’s been a hard time for Blackberry as the company is facing big profit loss. But among all this they are working on their new flagship which is the purported Blackberry R10. This is nothing like the Blackberry Z10 or any other touchscreen Blackberry released recently, yup it’s another Qwerty keypad phone which the company is famous for. But don’t expect any surprises from them in any way in specs or hardware.
Speaking of hardware, we have two variants, one the LTE and the other, NON-LTE. The LTE variant of the device will be powered by a Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7Ghz and the NON-LTE variant by TI Omap also clocked at 1.7Ghz. For display, we have a SUPER AMOLED Panel, 3.1 inches of it to be precise. With a resolution of 720×720 pixels, we have a PPI of 320. With that SUPER AMOLED panel, you get the best possible viewing clarity even in bright sunlight. Blackberry came up with some good specification with the Q10 and Z10, the R10 being no exception. We have 2GB RAM Module for the device and for all your storage purposes, BB is giving a 8GB additional storage.
Now for the camera, Blackberry cannot come up with a camera against the likes of Nokia, Apple, Samsung and HTC, and here we have a 5 Megapixel snapper on the Blackberry R10 for all that picture perfect moments, a 2 Megapixel camera for your video calling purposes. To power the device, we have a 2000mAh battery which is more than enough considering the hardware we have on the device. It can last you for a full day with extreme usage as well.
All being rumors, we are yet to confirm about the Operating System for the device, but recent news suggests most of the hardware mentioned above are not likely to change.
