Google has announced a video which reveals some of the details about their upcoming operating system for smart watches called Android Wear.
Some of the details that haven’t been known earlier have been presented in the video, and Android is simplified and created to fit the hardware of smart watches.
OS functions via voice commands mostly, so the interaction with the watch is possible without touching the screen.
Simple user interface is available for all future users. There are some new features like Pages and Stack, which are considered to be successful solution for the limited space on the display of the watch.
Notifications will now be stacking on each other, and the latest will be staying on top.
Reply is the function which allows quick replying to messages, and all you have to do is say to the mic of the watch what you want to send.
OS is still in the beta testing phase, and the precision of voice commands is still in tweaking process.
