Lenovo Yoga 3 14

Notebooks, especially the ones that run on a Windows operating system, have changed a lot in the past couple of years when we talk about their features. That’s why the new Lenovo Yoga 3 14 may look as the average notebook from the outside, but it’s what’s inside that matters here.

After you open the Lenovo Yoga 3 14 you’ll notice that the screen is very flexible and that you can open it until it folds into a tablet. This is pretty important as we’re talking about a touchscreen and who wants a device with a touchscreen that can’t be used as a tablet.

The LED display is 14 inches wide and it can reproduce 1080 pixels of video mainly because of its powerful Intel Core i5 Provessor support running a Windows 8.1 operating system. The hard drive is only 128 GB and the RAM memory is at modest 4 GB, but you can always upgrade these parts.

HP Stream 13

The Netbook was a great solution for everybody that didn’t need the power of a laptop, but the lack of computing power saw the end of this product. That’s where the team at HP recognized a huge opportunity. That and the relatively decreased price of similar components.

The size of the display with the HP Stream 13 is about 1 inch shorter than the one of the Lenovo Yoga 3 14, but this is nothing to worry about because for that price the HP Stream 13 offers enough computing power. The 720 pixels display is powered by an Intel Celeron processor that runs on 2 GB of RAM.

This is probably not enough for running some heavy programs like Adobe’s Photoshop or play the latest video games, but it’s enough if you want to check out your mail and stream something from Netflix.
